Hoxha ruled Albania for 40 years as the world's most paranoid dictator. He built 750,000 concrete bunkers (one for every four citizens), broke with the Soviet Union, then broke with China, then declared Albania officially atheist (the only country to do so). Albania was essentially North Korea in Europe.
