Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin and blockchain technology, publishing the whitepaper in 2008 and launching the network in 2009. They mined approximately 1 million Bitcoin (worth tens of billions at peak) and then vanished in 2010, never moving the coins.
Nobody knows if Satoshi is one person, a group, alive, dead, male, female, or an AI. Every claimed identification has been debunked.
