Dylan reinvented himself from folk protest singer to electric rock poet to country crooner to born-again Christian, infuriating fans each time. His 1965 switch to electric at Newport was booed. His lyrics elevated pop songwriting to literature - literally (Nobel Prize, 2016).
He has been on the Never Ending Tour since 1988. He is deliberately misleading about everything including his own biography.
